The competitions are open to all magicians who have registered to the Festival. Two Competitions will take place – Stage Magic Competition and  Close-Up Competition as well as junior competition for both of these categories. The duration of the competition act is required to be at least 5 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes. Magicians are fully responsible for their performance. For any music that will be played during their performance, for all their props and other equipment used.  Should a competing act need music background for their performance, it is their sole obligation to bring the music on a Compact Disc as well as on an USB memory stick. The awarding of prizes in any category of any competition is at the discretion and final decision of the panel of judges.

The Panel of Judges consists of  experts in the Art of Magic. One of the Judges will be elected a president of the panel. All members of the panel vote by entering scores on a chart that will be given to them for each competitor. The panel has the right to disqualify any competitor, as well as to score him from 0 to 100 points, for each one of the skills that will be listed on the score chart. At the end of the competition, the President adds the scores for each competitor, and the total score determines competitors who won the first, the second and the third place in Close-Up category, as well as the first, the second and the third place in Stage Magic category for juniors and seniors.
The Panel of Judges can award the Grand Prix award to the best competitor in either one of the categories, should the performance of a competing act be evaluated as of exceptional quality, and should they estimate that the competing act deserves such an award. The panel has the right to not award the Grand Prix for the best competing act, nor any of the prizes should they deem that none of the competing acts have deserved it.

The Organizer commits to provide the basic technical conditions to all competing acts, the basic technical conditions being: the stage, a table, a chair, a sound technician, a light technician, and the PA system. The competing act is obliged to provide all other equipment that will be used in the performance. The Organizer has the right to postpone the Competition, as well as to cancel the Competition in case of a weak turnout, and to reimburse the competing acts the Registration Fee.
